Light & Airy In-Frame Shaker Kitchen

The brief

The clients wanted a traditional kitchen that would stand the test of time, both in terms of design and durability. They selected our solid timber in-frame Winford range, known for its beautiful bead detail and oak dovetail drawer boxes. The clients love cooking and wanted to use their existing (and stunning) range cooker as a focal point. The kitchen needed to be both practical and visually appealing, with everything within easy reach. Additionally, the clients requested a dedicated drinks station along with a cohesive seating area that would match the overall design.

CAD Drawings & Elevation

Our design centres around the clients’ stunning range cooker, with the rest of the layout radiating from there. The kitchen is designed to ensure that all essentials are close by, making cooking a truly enjoyable experience. The bespoke dresser serves as a dedicated drinks station, complete with a small sink, boiling water tap, and ample space for their coffee machine and crockery. We also incorporated a custom seating area painted to match the kitchen that ties the space together.

The Result

The final kitchen is a perfect blend of traditional style and modern practicality. The solid timber in-frame Winford cabinetry in Cotton adds a soft, elegant feel to the space, while the Manhattan Quartz worktops provide a touch of luxury. The stunning range cooker centrepiece will hopefully make cooking a joy for these avid cooks, and the bespoke drinks station, with its integrated sink and boiling tap, has become a real must-have! The matching custom-built seating area completes the space, creating a cohesive and welcoming atmosphere.
