Matt Black True Handleless Kitchen
True Handleless Kitchen
The brief
The clients wanted a modern, sleek kitchen with clean lines, opting for a true handleless design. Their priorities included maximising storage space and incorporating a tall bank of units. They also requested a dedicated drinks station larder, and a boiling water tap. The kitchen needed to include a large, social island with seating and a hob, as well as a wine cabinet. For the worktop, the clients wanted something subtle but visually interesting.
CAD Drawings & Elevation
The design centres around a matt black true handleless rail system, creating a streamlined, modern look. To maximise storage, we designed a tall bank of units along one wall, providing ample storage space without overwhelming the room. The Silestone Calacatta Gold Quartz worktops were chosen for their subtle elegance, featuring delicate veining that adds visual interest without overpowering the design. A large island was positioned at the heart of the kitchen, with seating on one side and the hob on the other, perfect for both social interaction and cooking. A drinks station larder was incorporated into the design, ensuring easy access to beverages and keeping the main kitchen area clear. The Result
The large island, now the social hub of the room, features seating and the centrally located hob, making it ideal for both cooking and entertaining. The tall bank of units offers generous storage space all the while maintaining the clean lines of the kitchen, and the drinks station larder gives the family a dedicated drinks spot without disrupting the flow of the room. The inclusion of a kettle tap and wine cabinet mean that it’s super easy to entertain guests, whether for a cuppa or a glass of wine!
